Letting go is a process — not a one-time event
When I was a child, a plaque with the Serenity Prayer hung in my grandparents’ kitchen. I read it over and over but couldn’t fathom just being content with whatever happened. It felt like giving up to me. Even then I had a hard time letting go of what I felt was the best or right outcome in favor of accepting life as it happened.
